Week 1

The team brainstormed and finalized the concept of Scratyphus focusing on perseverance and distractions. A draft of the script was written, outlining the robot's struggle to push the log uphill. Initial character and environment sketches were started, defining robot's appearance, his colleague, and the forest setting.

Weeks 2–3

The team began developing storyboards and refining character designs. We made a key pivot from a human lumberjack to a robot protagonist, choosing simplicity and clarity to better convey our message of persistence through distraction.

Weeks 4–9

We focused on modeling all characters and environments, ensuring each asset aligned with the tone and narrative. Grayscale renders and early animations helped us test visual pacing and storytelling. A rough animatic was assembled to preview the flow of the story.

Weeks 10–11

In the final stages, we brought everything together. Completed animations were UV-mapped and textured, adding depth and polish. Our producer composed and integrated the sound design, and all elements were compiled into a cohesive final animation, ready for presentation.
